Rick is the best realtor I could have ever had. I checked out quite a few homes and he got me into each and every one of those the day of. That is such a good thing because houses are selling so quickly. He was eager to get me into a home it didn't matter where. He is out of Holland and I moved into a house in Hastings. He was just a really friendly great guy and I will use him again in the future.

As first-time home buyers we really didn't know where to start. After speaking with Rick Genzink we were impressed with his overall grasp of our situation. He proved to be proficient as well as family oriented. He listened to everything we wanted and even added a few suggestions of things we didn't even think of. My wife and I were not terribly serious about moving when we stumbled upon Rick at a condo open house we window shopped. After chatting with him for a few minutes, it became apparent that Rick was willing to do what it took to help us not only sell our home but purchase our condo.

I was a first time home buyer a year out a college and was looking for a nice house to invest in around the Holland area where I work. I was a complete beginner and had no idea what I was getting myself in to looking for houses. I thought I knew what I wanted in my house, but after looking at a few with Rick, he gave me some of his advice when I asked for it on things to look for in houses and he was very open and honest. He really wanted me to get the best house for what I wanted. The third house we looked at I loved. That same day, the house I loved, he called me and said he knows another person has put an offer in that day to give me an update. I told him I would think it over and call him back soon. Called him back and told him lets do it and put in an offer. Not having any idea what that meant, he walked me through the whole process and taught me some techniques for putting a good offer in, good faith deposit, addenda for closing costs, etc.. So by the time we settled on what I wanted to do, I think we finally put the offer in around 11pm on a Friday and I got the call from Rick the next day saying I bought the house I wanted! Got a good deal on the house I really wanted and won on my first offer on a house! Next couple months Rick was always open to call and answer whatever questions I had before closing and took me out to lunch to sign paper work. All in all, Rick is very professional, easy to work with, openly honest, and an all around good person. I would highly recommend to any one, especially rookies buying a house like myself.

Rick sold our mothers house for us. It was good to be able to hand the responsibilities over to someone who knows the business after mom died. We had lots of other things to attend to. He handled everything that came up with patience and kindness.. He not only knows the real estate business but also understands the dynamics a family goes thru when losing a homestead of many years. All is important when looking for a realtor.
